System 4 Scroll Frame by Needlework

The Scroll Frame Holders from Needlework System 4. Pair with the Table/Lap Stand, the Standard Floor Stand, the Table Clamp Stand, or the Travel-Mate Floor Stand to make a complete needlepoint stand system (stands sold separately). 

The Scroll Frame dowels use a stiff twill to attach the canvas to, by tacking it on with yarn or thread (or velcro can also be used). Frame weighs only 4 pounds, and easily rotates 360 degrees to work on the canvas back. Shown in use on the Travel Floor Stand and with the Table/Lap Stand (each sold separately). Scroll Frames attach directly to stands, and do not require the Frame Clamp.

Each scroll frame is shipped with one specific size of dowels that cannot be swapped for a different size; the sizes for each are listed below. Additional dowel sizes may be purchased separately. The size range listed for each Frame Holder indicates the length of dowels each frame can accommodate. The frame slides out for longer dowels, and slides in for shorter dowels; then once the dowels are attached, it no longer slides, The metal side bars (that the dowels attach to) are all 12" long, which is your working space.

S4007 - 18"-30" - comes with 18" dowels
S4008 - 24"-40" - comes with 30" dowels
(The 24" -40"  scroll frame is not recommended for use with Table/Lap stand)
